Technical Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and oversee Prompt's Open API roadmap, focusing on enhancements that empower partners and customers to maximize their development on the platform.

• Manage Prompt's EHR integrations from start to finish, ensuring dependable, standards-compliant connectivity with prominent electronic health record systems.

• Cultivate and expand Prompt's partnership with Kno2, improving the integration and its interoperability features.

• Act as the technical product representative during sales, customer, and partner discussions regarding EHR or API-based integrations.

• Lead the creation and ongoing support of Prompt's Patient Portal.

• Assist in steering Prompt's DevOps roadmap in collaboration with the engineering team.

• Stay updated on CEHRT certification and CMS Interoperability Pledge requirements.

• Coordinate various cross-functional initiatives across product, engineering, and external partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in working with healthcare APIs, FHIR, HL7, and essential healthcare data flows.

• Proven experience managing or owning an open/public API.

• Experience with integration into major EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner (Oracle Health), and athenahealth.

• Demonstrated ability to manage several cross-functional projects simultaneously.

• Comfortable engaging in client-facing sales, customer, and partner calls.

• In-depth understanding of HIPAA requirements.

• Excellent communication skills, with the capability to articulate thoughts and decisions, particularly to senior leadership.

• Familiarity with Scrum and Agile product development methodologies.

• Experience with a Direct Secure Messaging interface (preferred).

• Knowledge of CMS CEHRT requirements and testing (preferred).

• Experience managing projects using Asana (preferred).

• Previous experience at an EMR or EHR organization (preferred).
