Technical Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with an external software development organization as a member of Inviso’s delivery team.

• Contribute to shaping the roadmap, requirements, and delivery processes for an enterprise AI platform.

• Establish the product focus, requirements, roadmap, acceptance criteria, and stage-gate process for platform functionalities.

• Integrate customer discovery, business value, product strategy, engineering feasibility, and execution of delivery.

• Engage with executives, product leaders, engineering teams, customer stakeholders, and design partners.

• Oversee roadmap trade-offs balancing product velocity, platform leverage, technical risks, and customer value.

• Define and implement stage-gate, phase-gate, or milestone-based delivery methodologies.

• Collaborate with engineering teams on sequencing, architectural trade-offs, delivery planning, and scope determinations.

• Recruit or manage design partners, gather feedback, and transform insights into product decisions.

• Record decisions, assumptions, gaps, customer feedback, and readiness for delivery.

• Articulate product strategy, progress, risks, and impact effectively.

• Keep teams aligned with priorities and ensure product decisions are in line with business value, customer needs, and engineering realities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in owning requirements, roadmaps, scope, or delivery strategies for technical products, platforms, APIs, infrastructure, or developer-facing solutions.

• Capability to translate customer and stakeholder needs into clear, prioritized, and testable requirements and acceptance criteria.

• Experience managing trade-offs on the roadmap concerning product velocity, platform leverage, technical risks, and customer value.

• Proficiency in defining and executing stage-gate, phase-gate, or milestone-based delivery processes.

• Experience collaborating directly with engineering teams on sequencing, architectural decisions, delivery planning, and scope choices.

• Background in recruiting or managing design partners, obtaining feedback, and converting insights into product decisions.

• Ability to document decisions, assumptions, gaps, customer feedback, and delivery readiness in a clear and organized manner.

• Strong executive communication abilities to explain product strategy, progress, risks, and impacts.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills suited for client-facing consulting settings.

• Pragmatic decision-making skills with the ability to prioritize value, defer or eliminate scope, and maintain delivery momentum.

• Desired: Experience with AI platforms, AI development lifecycles, data products, API platforms, infrastructure products, or developer tools.

• Desired: Experience shipping a platform or API product that has been adopted by design partners or internal product teams.

• Desired: Experience conducting customer discovery in complex operational or regulated environments.

• Desired: Experience supporting enterprise-scale software with reliability, security, compliance, and integration requirements.

• Desired: Experience working in federated product environments where multiple teams manage their own roadmaps.

• Desired: Experience utilizing AI-assisted productivity tools to enhance analysis, documentation, and product delivery.
