Technical Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the ongoing enhancement and integrity of Lexia's online applications and platforms for students and educators.

• Collaborate with both technical and non-technical internal stakeholders to understand how products fit within the U.S. PreK-12 education landscape.

• Partner with Product Management, Content, Learning Design, UX Design, Engineering, and QA teams to foster ideas and drive product enhancements.

• Manage technical requirements throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Become a subject matter expert on the platform and the underlying technology of the company's software solutions.

• Influence and assist in managing product roadmaps and backlogs.

• Comprehend business objectives, the needs of customer-facing teams, market challenges, technical limitations, dependencies, risks, and the status of the roadmap.

• Define and prioritize product features and enhancements for each release.

• Propel releases through user stories in a collaborative, cross-functional manner.

• Create and oversee user stories, acceptance criteria, epics, bug tickets, and product documentation.

• Maintain a prioritized backlog and address, prioritize, and assign bug tickets.

• Manage the scope and contents of each monthly release.

• Identify improvements and escaped defects based on user personas and anticipated user experiences.

• Experiment with tools to enhance requirement definitions and disseminate findings.

• Prepare and publish product release notes.

• Demonstrate and articulate features and functionalities to stakeholders.

• Create and maintain Help Center articles, user guides, personas, use cases, feature briefs, and associated product documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Minimum of four (4) years of experience in technical product management.

• Experience working across the entire software development lifecycle with UX designers, software developers, and QA engineers as a product manager or product owner.

• Preference for experience as a product manager for online SaaS products.

• Ability to think critically and creatively when addressing competing priorities, challenges in feature development, and issues that block releases.

• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, with the capability to meet deadlines.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for engaging with technical and non-technical audiences and customers.

• Preference for expertise in using Atlassian's Jira software.

• Reliable cable or fiber-optic broadband connection with minimum speeds of 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload for remote work.

• Active involvement in video-based interviews and ongoing virtual meetings with the camera on.
