Technical Product Lead – Head of Product & Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Lead the ongoing enhancement of FunnelCockpit, from product conception to successful launch.

• Convert customer insights, business goals, and technical specifications into a definitive product roadmap.

• Prioritize functionalities, bug fixes, and technical enhancements.

• Offer functional leadership and coordinate the development team while continuously refining workflows.

• Establish clear requirements and unmistakable acceptance criteria.

• Assist in technical decision-making, code evaluations, quality assurance, and product releases.

• Evaluate new features from the user's perspective to ensure a straightforward and cohesive user experience.

• Utilize AI development tools such as Codex, Claude Code, or similar alternatives.

• Create AI-supported workflows for planning, execution, testing, code assessment, and documentation.

• Contribute to the codebase, develop prototypes, and aid in the root-cause analysis of intricate issues.

• FunnelCockpit serves as a comprehensive platform for constructing and automating online marketing and sales processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience in digital product management, software development, or a similar technical product position.

• Strong technical knowledge of contemporary web applications, APIs, databases, and software architecture.

• Practical experience in collaborating with—and ideally leading—development teams.

• A keen understanding of user experience, intuitive user journeys, and practical product design.

• Extensive hands-on experience with AI-enhanced software development, such as using Codex, Claude Code, or comparable coding agents.

• Capability to critically assess and test AI-generated code and prepare it for production deployment.

• Structured, self-motivated, and decisive approach to work.

• Ability to differentiate between a quick, pragmatic solution and a sustainable long-term architecture.

• Proficient in German and competent in English.

• Especially valuable: experience with SaaS products or intricate web platforms, regular programming experience, and familiarity with TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, MongoDB, automated testing, CI/CD, or cloud platforms.
