Technical Marketing Specialist – EMEA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee application development initiatives within the refrigeration, air-conditioning, and heat pump sectors.

• Assist OEMs and clients in the qualification and implementation of advanced refrigerants.

• Act as a technical authority and reliable advisor for clients and industry participants.

• Identify and cultivate technical projects that foster business expansion and market acceptance.

• Evaluate field trial and application data, offering insights to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Create technical documents, case studies, and presentations for conferences.

• Keep track of market trends, customer requirements, and competitive actions to inform business strategy.

• Support the development of codes, standards, and regulatory matters throughout Europe.

• Establish connections with universities, industry associations, and standardization groups.

• Work collaboratively with Technical Marketing, Business Development, Product Management, Sales, Regulatory, and R&D teams on a global scale.

• Report directly to the Regional Technical Manager for EMEA.

• Assist clients in navigating the shift to next-generation refrigerants while promoting sustainable cooling technology adoption.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.

• Several years of experience in the refrigeration, HVAC, heat pump, or related thermal systems industries.

• Experience with refrigerants, refrigeration systems, HVAC technologies, or heat pumps.

• Proven experience engaging with customers, OEMs, consultants, or other external industry players.

• Strong analytical and project management skills.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

• Proficient in German and English.

• Capability to independently manage projects and function effectively in a matrix environment.

• Preferred experience in application development, market development, or technical business development initiatives.

• Familiarity with F-Gas and EN378 regulations and standards is preferred.

• Preferred experience in creating technical publications, case studies, or conference presentations.

• Experience with standards committees, advocacy, or industry associations is preferred.

• Knowledge of fluorochemistry or refrigerant chemistry is preferred.
