This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.
β’ Design and implement comprehensive workflows within a distributed/microservices application framework.
β’ Lead the technical direction and play a key role in architectural choices throughout the project.
β’ Create high-quality, scalable, maintainable, and testable software using C# and .NET technologies.
β’ Write and uphold unit tests to guarantee reliability and high code quality.
β’ Evaluate intricate technical problems and propose effective, long-lasting solutions.
β’ Collaborate with developers, product stakeholders, and other team members to deliver superior solutions.
β’ Offer constructive technical feedback and assist team members in their professional growth.
β’ Clearly communicate technical decisions, risks, and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
β’ Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and the ongoing enhancement of engineering practices.
β’ Help sustain high quality and efficiency while fulfilling sprint and quarterly commitments.
β’ Ensure that technical solutions are in line with project needs, architectural standards, and long-term business objectives.
β’ Contribute to substantial, strategic, and intricate components and services for an enterprise-grade online food ordering platform utilized by leading US restaurant chains and millions of users.
β’ Over 10 years of experience in software engineering.
β’ Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, and fundamental object-oriented programming concepts.
β’ Practical experience in designing and developing comprehensive solutions within distributed and microservices architectures.
β’ Solid understanding of software design principles, along with clean and testable code practices.
β’ Proven experience with unit testing and creating dependable, maintainable solutions.
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to manage complex technical challenges.
β’ Excellent judgment and a collaborative approach.
β’ Strong communication skills suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences.
β’ Experience in providing constructive feedback and fostering the professional development of team members.
β’ Ability to operate efficiently in an Agile/Scrum setting and consistently deliver on sprint and quarterly objectives.
β’ Proficiency in English at an Upper-Intermediate (B2) level or above.
β’ Nice-to-have: Experience with F#.
β’ Nice-to-have: Familiarity with SQL Server and relational databases.
β’ Nice-to-have: Knowledge of testing frameworks such as NUnit, xUnit, or Playwright.
β’ Nice-to-have: Experience with AWS and cloud infrastructure.
β’ Nice-to-have: Familiarity with CI/CD and deployment tools like TeamCity and Octopus.
β’ Nice-to-have: Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Datadog and Sumo Logic.
β’ Nice-to-have: Previous experience in a Technical Lead or similar technical leadership position.
