Tech Lead – TypeScript, Node.js, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Lead the development of comprehensive features for a streamlined team.

• Make sensible trade-offs between quick deployment and the long-term health of the codebase.

• Produce clean, production-ready code within the full-stack TypeScript ecosystem.

• Implement custom workflows, state-machine logic, and tailored RAG pipelines.

• Create guardrails, traceability frameworks, and algorithms to assess and demonstrate the reliability of LLM outputs.

• Quickly transform vague concepts into functional code.

• Set up code review processes, testing practices, and responsible usage guidelines for AI coding assistants.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript, including advanced concepts like Generics and Discriminated Unions.

• Extensive experience with Node.js.

• Strong preference for Mastra or demonstrated experience in developing custom state-machine-driven backend logic.

• Robust modern web development skills; SvelteKit is the primary stack, while experience with React or Vue is appreciated.

• Proven history of deploying effective LLM-powered features or agents.

• Knowledge of token costs, evaluations, and prompt safety.

• Advanced daily use of engineering assistants such as Claude Code or Cursor.

• Ability to work independently across the entire web stack.

• Exceptional English communication abilities.

• Comfortable operating in an asynchronous, highly autonomous setting.
