Technical Lead – Connected Buildings

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily health, stability, and administration of Niagara BMS and Skyspark environments.

• Ensure system uptime, secure access, and platform reliability in live production environments.

• Adjust BMS stations, graphics, alarms, and Skyspark configurations to meet evolving operational needs.

• Develop and enhance Copilot agents and workflows for automating the export, organization, and analysis of BMS and analytics data.

• Create quantitative tools and reporting methods to assess building performance enhancements.

• Convert system modifications, analytics insights, and technical actions into operational or business value.

• Collaborate with the client's technology department regarding requirements, dependencies, access needs, and technical priorities.

• Diagnose issues within building systems and analytics workflows, restore services, and implement measures to prevent future occurrences.

• Record configurations, procedures, and modifications.

• Facilitate continuous enhancement of workflows, automation, analytics practices, and platform governance.


⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience with Niagara BMS, Skyspark Analytics, and live production building systems.

• Capability to maintain uptime, secure access, and operational reliability in critical technical settings.

• Experience in modifying BMS stations, graphics, alarms, and analytics configurations.

• Proven experience in developing automation workflows and utilizing AI tools, including Copilot agents.

• Ability to create quantitative tools, reporting, and analytical techniques to measure operational or building performance improvements, including energy savings.

• Experience interacting directly with clients or enterprise technology stakeholders.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities across building systems and analytics platforms.

• Highly self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a predominantly remote work environment without constant supervision.

• Occasional travel may be necessary.

• Excellent prioritization, judgment, and communication skills.

• Experience with energy calculations is strongly preferred.
