Senior Fullstack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop modern, responsive user experiences utilizing React and up-to-date front-end development methodologies.

• Design intuitive, accessible, and high-performance interfaces for learners and customers alike.

• Work collaboratively with Product, UX, and Engineering teams to turn concepts into impactful features.

• Take ownership of features from their inception through to deployment across the complete development lifecycle.

• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity and software quality.

• Engage in Agile Scrum ceremonies.

• Impact technical decisions and assist in guiding product direction.

• Contribute to digital learning and assessment experiences for Wiley's Assessments products.

• Report to an Engineering Manager within the Assessments Technology division.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• Advanced expertise in developing modern web applications using React, JavaScript/JS, TypeScript/TS, HTML, and CSS.

• Over 2 years of experience working with back-end technologies such as .NET/C# or similar server-side frameworks.

• Experience with cloud and container technologies like AWS, Docker, or Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with relational or document databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, or similar technologies.

• At least 1 year of experience contributing to DevOps practices, including deployment automation, monitoring, or infrastructure support.

• Intermediate skills in GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and cloud-based architectures.

• Strong understanding of unit testing, automated testing, code reviews, and coding standards.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.

• Strong capability to translate business requirements and user needs into clear technical solutions.

• Deep commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences and addressing customer challenges through thoughtful design and engineering.

• Intermediate experience in Agile environments and close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
