Technical Lead – Cloud & Infra Engineering

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Guarantee optimal availability, performance, and resilience of production systems.

β€’ Apply SRE best practices, encompassing error budgets, SLIs/SLOs, capacity planning, chaos testing, and creation of runbooks.

β€’ Propel automation efforts to minimize manual operational tasks and enhance MTTR.

β€’ Execute post-incident evaluations and institute long-term corrective measures.

β€’ Oversee deployments, rollbacks, and environment synchronization across Development, QA, UAT, and Production.

β€’ Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain WebLogic, Tomcat, Apache, and Nginx servers.

β€’ Conduct JVM tuning, thread pool optimization, connection pool management, and performance enhancements.

β€’ Diagnose middleware issues related to memory leaks, thread contention, SSL, certificates, and clustering.

β€’ Set up dashboards, alerts, and performance insights using New Relic and Splunk.

β€’ Create log-based monitoring strategies and implement anomaly detection.

β€’ Configure Akamai caching rules, WAF policies, edge redirects, and performance enhancements.

β€’ Resolve CDN latency, caching, and routing problems; work in conjunction with Akamai support.

β€’ Facilitate major incident bridges and coordinate cross-functional teams.

β€’ Manage problem tickets, conduct root cause analyses, and develop preventive action plans.

β€’ Ensure adherence to ITIL processes regarding change, release, and incident management.

β€’ Mentor and lead a team of SRE/DevOps engineers.

β€’ Offer technical guidance, training, and performance evaluations.

β€’ Serve as a customer-facing technical subject matter expert for escalations and production issues.

β€’ Collaborate with product, QA, development, and business teams to ensure seamless delivery.
