Technical Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Take responsibility for delivering across the Passenger iOS, Android, and Web applications, resolving obstacles and ensuring predictable release timelines.

• Stay actively engaged in technical implementation, design discussions, and code reviews, establishing high standards for engineering excellence.

• Lead the integration of Masabi's Justride SDK and public APIs into Passenger applications.

• Oversee application migrations, release management, rollout planning, and deployment activities.

• Promote engineering practices that facilitate effective delivery within the team.

• Mentor and guide a team of engineers through regular one-on-one meetings, coaching, performance assessments, and clear development discussions.

• Foster an environment that encourages engineers to grow, evolve, and perform at their best.

• Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering stakeholders to align on priorities, delivery schedules, and team objectives.

• Cultivate a collaborative and inclusive team culture.

• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and team development activities as needed.

• Provide stakeholders with visibility into delivery progress, risks, and dependencies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A strong hands-on engineer at heart, proficient in at least one native platform (Swift/UIKit or Kotlin/Coroutines) and capable of working confidently across both.

• You have experience leading technical delivery across engineering teams, ensuring quality through code reviews and design guidance rather than stepping away from the tasks.

• You have directly managed and developed engineers, conducting one-on-one meetings, coaching, and providing honest feedback.

• Comfortable working with multi-tenant or white-label products, where a single codebase addresses the diverse needs of multiple clients.

• Experienced in delivering and evolving production applications, including migrations and modernization initiatives.

• Knowledgeable and skilled in SDK and API integrations.

• Proficient in using AI-assisted development tools and able to illustrate how you have integrated them into the engineering workflow.

• A calm communicator who aligns stakeholders and maintains a balance between coding and leadership.
