Technical Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Lead a group of engineers

• Collaborate with the product manager and designer from initial discovery to final delivery

• Take ownership of landing pages, website builders, signup forms, subscriber imports, preference centers, and opt-in flows

• Develop and maintain integrations that facilitate subscriber acquisition from other platforms

• Ensure that forms, imports, and opt-in flows are swift, dependable, and secure from abuse

• Manage the team's production areas comprehensively, focusing on quality, performance, monitoring, and incident resolution

• Establish engineering standards through code reviews, pairing sessions, and mentoring

• Support engineers in expanding their ownership and responsibilities

⛳️ Requirements

• More than 6 years of experience in building production web applications

• Proficient in PHP and Laravel

• Strong skills in modern JavaScript, preferably Vue 3

• Proven experience in leading engineers from a technical standpoint

• Experience in designing and maintaining REST APIs

• Familiarity with third-party APIs and OAuth

• Good relational database management skills; PostgreSQL is preferred

• Experience with background jobs and queues

• Product-oriented mindset, including customer research, challenging requirements, and assessing results post-launch

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

• Ability to work asynchronously within a remote team

• A 5-hour overlap with the CET time zone is required

• Nice to have: experience with drag-and-drop editors or page builders

• Nice to have: experience with social platform integrations or WordPress plugin development

• Nice to have: knowledge of GDPR and double opt-in requirements

• Nice to have: experience in bot and abuse protection for public forms
