Technical Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Lead a high-performing engineering team

• Mentor engineers through regular one-on-one meetings and ongoing feedback

• Cultivate a culture centered on ownership, learning, and collaboration

• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and career development

• Eliminate obstacles to help the team excel

• Convert product objectives into actionable engineering plans

• Decompose complex projects into clear work packages

• Collaborate with Product to scope, estimate, and prioritize tasks

• Balance quality, speed, and business impact effectively

• Influence architectural decisions within the team

• Uphold high engineering standards through reviews and mentorship

• Enhance performance, reliability, and maintainability

• Actively contribute to features, refactoring, and resolving production issues

• Align with other Technical Leads and Product Managers

• Manage dependencies across teams

• Share knowledge and enhance engineering practices continuously

• Utilize AI for implementation, code reviews, testing, debugging, documentation, and architecture

• Optimize engineering workflows through AI

• Guide the team in leveraging new AI capabilities

• Experiment with emerging AI tools and establish best practices

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in backend or full-stack development

• Extensive experience with ASP.NET Core

• Proficient in React, TypeScript, and JavaScript

• Experience in building scalable SaaS solutions

• Comfortable working within cloud-native architectures

• Familiarity with Azure and Microsoft 365 APIs is a bonus

• Experience with F#, or strong C# skills with a genuine eagerness to learn functional programming

• Previous experience in a leadership role within an engineering team

• Capable of scoping and estimating complex tasks

• Proficient in prioritizing effectively amidst changing requirements

• Skilled at balancing technical debt with product delivery

• Aptitude for making practical engineering decisions

• Ability to keep teams aligned and accountable

• Advanced AI user who incorporates AI into daily engineering processes

• A strong curiosity and dedication to continuous learning

• Nice to have: Experience with F#, Domain-Driven Design, CQRS, Event Sourcing, Vertical Slice Architecture, Microsoft Graph API, React Native, Enterprise B2B software, and governance or regulated industries
