Technical Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the complete architecture and delivery of intricate backend and platform solutions.

• Design, develop, and manage distributed systems utilizing contemporary engineering methodologies and cloud-native technologies.

• Foster technical leadership by engaging in architecture discussions, conducting code reviews, and promoting engineering best practices.

• Collaborate extensively with global stakeholders, including teams from North America and KL DataHub.

• Lead the resolution of incidents, perform postmortem analyses, and drive continuous enhancements in reliability and observability.

• Uphold high standards for testing and CI/CD pipelines.

• Mentor and assist engineers, enhancing their technical capabilities and encouraging knowledge sharing.

• Apply security-by-design principles and actively mitigate vulnerabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in backend engineering, distributed systems, or platform engineering.

• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and foundational concepts of distributed systems.

• Comprehensive understanding of system design, performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Practical experience with AWS and container orchestration tools (Kubernetes/EKS or ECS).

• Solid background in testing methodologies (unit, integration, acceptance automation) and CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with OpenAPI, Jenkins, SonarQube, and tools for security scanning.

• Experience with event-driven or data streaming architectures (e.g., Kafka).

• Strong fundamentals in software engineering and awareness of security practices.

• Capability to provide technical leadership.
