Linux/Application Administrator – Learning Platforms

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Guarantee the dependable functioning and ongoing enhancement of learning management systems and applications, including ILIAS.

• Manage, administer, and further enhance the Learning Management System (ILIAS), incorporating LTI and SCORM integrations.

• Install, configure, support, and integrate specialized applications into the current system architecture.

• Maintain stable system operations through consistent monitoring, troubleshooting, and effective patch and release management.

• Design, develop, and sustain APIs, ETL/ELT pipelines, and automation solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Profound knowledge and hands-on experience in LAMP environments (Linux, Apache/Nginx, MariaDB).

• Exceptional automation and scripting capabilities using PHP, Bash, and JavaScript.

• Experience in operating and managing intricate specialized applications.

• Hands-on experience with learning management systems (e.g., ILIAS) and relational databases.

• Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration.

• Strong proficiency in written and spoken German.

• Outstanding communication skills.

• Methodical, independent working style with a strong dedication to quality.
