Senior Software Engineer – Growth

📋 Description

• Act as a technical authority within a dedicated engineering team focused on developing and supporting Invoice Simple’s platform.

• Guide team members and mentor budding technical leaders.

• Collaborate with engineering and product stakeholders to enhance the product roadmap.

• Keep up-to-date with technologies, frameworks, and tools that enhance the software development lifecycle.

• Assist in planning and driving the execution of product features.

• Actively engage in software development by implementing and deploying code.

• Lead sessions for product refinement.

• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable software solutions that meet customer and business objectives.

• Promote scalable design and adhere to best engineering practices.

• Establish quality standards and ensure solutions are maintainable.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional experience in delivering scalable software solutions as a software engineer.

• More than 3 years of experience in building modern applications using React, Typescript, and Tailwind.

• Knowledge of cloud computing services such as AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.

• Understanding of common software vulnerabilities and strategies for addressing them.

• In-depth knowledge of the NodeJS ecosystem and frontend/backend tools like Webpack and Vite.

• Significant expertise in database modeling and caching technologies across both relational and document stores, including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.

• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development.

• Experience managing large-scale third-party integrations.

• Proficiency across both object-oriented and functional programming paradigms.

• Familiarity with Git, Docker, and GitHub Actions.

• Experience in automated testing and conducting quality code reviews.

• Familiar with agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Scrum, and Kanban.

• Excellent technical writing, communication, and presentation skills.

• Must be eligible to work without sponsorship.

• A degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is a plus.
