Technical Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues affecting live hiring events.

• Collaborate with Client Support and GTM teams to prioritize and address support tickets.

• Ensure prompt incident resolution and adherence to SLA standards.

• Monitor production environments and respond to alerts, outages, and performance issues.

• Assist with architectural changes and system integrations.

• Maintain and update business event logic as upstream systems develop.

• Conduct technical investigations utilizing data and system metrics.

• Lead engineering initiatives and provide direction to team members.

• Manage a team of developers by overseeing their work, coordinating tasks, offering guidance, and ensuring quality output.

• Support Hiring Events, a live, high-traffic production platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional software engineering experience.

• Proficient in backend development with Java, Spring Boot, Python, and Django.

• Experience in frontend development using React.

• Familiarity with Kafka, GraphQL, SQL, and/or MongoDB.

• Experience in build and deployment processes.

• Knowledge of at least one of Dagster, Data Lakes, or Amazon Athena.

• Strong background in production support and troubleshooting.

• Ability to leverage data for diagnosing and resolving system issues.

• Experience in working autonomously and managing deliverables from start to finish.

• Demonstrated technical leadership capabilities.

• Experience in onboarding, mentoring, and guiding engineers.

• Proven ability to coordinate and supervise technical tasks.

• Strong sense of ownership.

• Capability to independently merge and deploy code.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Ability to manage ambiguity and adapt to changing priorities.

• Strong skills in prioritization and strategic thinking.
