Technical Lead – App Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Development of APIs driven by AI

• Creation and consumption of SOAP and REST web services

• Engagement in continuous integration environments

• Creation of unit, integration, and UI test cases

• Implementation of responsive web design principles to support various devices

• Utilization of Pivotal Cloud Foundry

• Application of Splunk for production support

• Involvement with database architecture, modeling, MySQL, SQL, and GemFire

• Development and maintenance of financial and banking applications

• Diagnosis of system issues, identification of root causes, formulation of action plans, and assessment of impacts and resolution options

• Collaboration with cross-functional teams, global development organizations, clients, management, and external partners

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in building and consuming web services through SOAP and REST

• Proficiency in continuous integration environments

• Experience in writing unit, integration, and UI test cases

• Extensive knowledge of responsive web design principles and support for multiple devices

• Strong background in Pivotal Cloud Foundry

• Familiarity with using Splunk for production support

• Experience in database architecture and modeling; knowledge of MySQL, SQL, and GemFire

• Understanding of JSON, REST, and XML-based web services

• Practical knowledge of the overall mobile industry

• Background in developing and supporting financial and banking applications

• Experience with DevAI tools such as GitHub Copilot

• Ability to troubleshoot systems through structured problem-solving, identify root causes, develop action plans, and assess impacts and resolution options

• Strong technical communication skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues

• Proven ability to work collaboratively across a matrix organization with global development teams

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence clients, team members, management, and external stakeholders

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with analytical and problem-solving abilities
