Technical Implementations Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Work alongside customers to facilitate implementation projects for Smile Digital Health’s products and services.

• Set up the Smile platform, write scripts, troubleshoot issues, design technical solutions, and offer architectural advice.

• Gain proficiency in HL7, FHIR, OpenID Connect, Kubernetes, Java, JavaScript, JSON, and XML.

• Prioritize tasks across multiple projects and escalate requests to leadership when needed.

• Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices to inform client initiatives.

• Collaborate with Implementations, Service, and Account Manager teams to enhance professional services profitability.

• Assist technical support analysts in their development and troubleshooting efforts.

• Participate in the after-hours on-call support rotation as required.

• Aid in the development and assessment of RFIs and RFPs.

• Accurately report working hours in NetSuite, maximizing billable time and utilizing project management features.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in Java and JavaScript development.

• Demonstrated expertise in Spring, REST, SQL, and Git.

• More than 3 years of experience in independently designing, developing, and delivering software solutions, as well as working within a collaborative team.

• Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work efficiently with clients and team members.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Highly organized and flexible in task prioritization.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Preferred: Familiarity with healthcare open standards (one or more): HL7 v2, FHIR, CCDA.

• Preferred: Experience with Kafka, ActiveMQ or other MQ systems, MongoDB, Docker, and Kubernetes.

• Preferred: Experience in Python and JavaScript.

• Preferred: Background in healthcare systems.

• Preferred: Experience with cloud development (AWS, Azure, etc.).

• Preferred: Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and iterative methodologies.

• Preferred: Successful completion of an undergraduate degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
