Technical Implementation Consultant – Digital Forensics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Convey technical project requirements to external clients and ensure that necessary implementation conditions are met.

• Oversee and execute Exterro FTK solution implementations in accordance with approved Statements of Work and project objectives.

• Conduct testing and troubleshooting of product components throughout the implementation process.

• Respond to customer technical questions and resolve implementation challenges.

• Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to guarantee successful customer implementations.

• Create documentation and scripted solutions for the Technical Engineering team.

• Provide remote support to Exterro's global customer base.

• Carry out additional tasks as assigned.

• Travel occasionally, up to 25%.

⛳️ Requirements

• Hands-on experience with the implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting of DFIR solutions such as Exterro FTK, Cellebrite, Magnet, EnCase, or similar tools is preferred but not mandatory.

• Strong technical foundation in customer-facing enterprise software implementation or support.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for articulating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Outstanding interpersonal skills and capability to collaborate across customer or partner organizations.

• Significant project management experience, including the ability to set realistic and achievable deadlines.

• Capacity to manage and execute multiple simultaneous tasks independently as well as part of a team.

• Proficiency in relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL, including the creation of complex queries.

• Advanced skills in administration and configuration of Microsoft Windows Server operating systems.

• Experience in implementing, configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting Windows-based applications.

• Understanding of networking basics, including TCP/IP protocols and firewall management.

• Scripting knowledge using PowerShell and Python.

• Experience with APIs for integration and automation purposes.

• Must successfully pass a background check.

• Must participate in mandatory security and privacy training.
