This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collect and categorize information for user manuals, training resources, installation guides, and reports.
• Research and familiarize oneself with assigned systems.
• Write, design, and create marketing brochures, advertisements, news releases, feature articles, conference programs, proceedings, public relations announcements, newsletters, and related materials.
• Design, develop, produce, maintain, and oversee client websites.
• Create multimedia presentation content, including slides.
• Prepare operational and maintenance manuals and technical documents.
• Gather technical information and prepare written content for basic projects.
• Coordinate the layout and organization of manuals.
• Research development and engineering data, including drawings, design reports, equipment, and test specifications.
• Write, edit, and proofread reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, instructional materials, catalogs, technical publications, and documentation for software and hardware.
• Arrange word processing, duplication, and the distribution of materials.
• Collaborate as part of the Case Management Modernization Application Development team to enhance case management capabilities and improve user experience.
• Support a cloud-based solution utilized by over 204 federal courts across the United States.
• Communicate technical details of software products to both technical and non-technical users.
• Manage and prioritize multiple tasks while suggesting process enhancements.
• Over 8 years of relevant experience in researching, preparing, and writing technical and marketing materials.
• Experience in an Agile Scrum environment focused on writing technical documentation for software products, applications, and product releases.
• Proficiency in understanding and conveying technical aspects of software products to both technical and non-technical users.
• In-depth knowledge of technical research, writing, and editing principles and practices.
• Familiarity with word processing, desktop publishing, web applications, and computer hardware.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related field.
• Advanced experience in creating online help documentation, instructional materials, user guides, and manuals.
• Experience in developing and implementing content using responsive design principles and technological practices.
• Proficiency with Confluence, SharePoint, RoboHelp, MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, Lucidchart, Visio, Draw.io, SiteImprove, Axe, and Wave.
• Capability to comprehend complex applications, diagrams, user requirements, and designs with minimal assistance.
• Preferred technical knowledge of HTML5 and CSS.
• Exceptional oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to independently manage and prioritize multiple tasks while identifying areas for enhancement.
• Skill in working with high-level customer stakeholders and fostering customer relationships.
• Experience in applying industry tools, solutions, methods, best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• BI Full 6C (T4) public trust requirement.
• Travel required is less than 10%.
