ICAM Technical Writer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collect technical insights from experts in Identity, Cloud, Cybersecurity, and ICAM.

• Create, organize, and author SOPs, TTPs, integration manuals, architectural summaries, and process documents.

• Generate thorough documentation that adheres to organizational standards, engineering best practices, and ICAM governance requirements.

• Manage documentation repositories.

• Develop content for internal SharePoint sites while following established publishing protocols.

• Work collaboratively with IdP engineers, application teams, and program leadership to identify documentation needs and prioritize tasks.

• Adhere to documentation delivery schedules.

• Assess current ICAM documentation and suggest enhancements for structure, clarity, consistency, and usability.

• Review and refine documents for grammar, accuracy, completeness, and overall quality.

• Assist with ICAM portfolio documentation efforts, including onboarding materials, modernization deliverables, and lifecycle documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must hold an active Secret Clearance at a minimum; interim Secret Clearances are not accepted.

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant technical field, or an equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, or professional experience.

• At least 8 years of experience in creating technical documentation for IT, cybersecurity, IAM, or enterprise systems.

• Excellent technical writing capabilities.

• Proficiency in translating engineering concepts into clear and concise documentation.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Adherence to documentation governance practices.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, architecture, and cybersecurity teams.

• Familiarity with Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI is preferred.

• Technical knowledge of Azure, M365, or cloud-based identity services is preferred.

• Experience in documenting identity, authentication, cyber, or enterprise IT systems is preferred.

• Understanding of SAML, OAuth, OIDC, MFA, PKI, CAC workflows, and Zero Trust identity principles is preferred.

• Experience creating executive-level briefing materials and engineering review documents is preferred.

• Travel required is less than 10%.
