Technical Documentation Writer – AI/ML

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and enhance technical documentation intended for public consumption that supports AI/model launches

• Integrate technical inputs from various engineers into a coherent and consistent narrative

• Review documentation for technical precision, clarity, thoroughness, and audience comprehension

• Develop frameworks, standards, and repeatable processes for technical release documentation

• Adapt quickly to changing release timelines and periods of high documentation demand

• Convert highly technical engineering content into polished documentation suitable for external technical audiences

⛳️ Requirements

• Profound technical and engineering knowledge is crucial

• Proven experience in producing public-facing technical documentation for intricate engineering projects

• Established history of supporting technical releases, preferably with open- or closed-source AI models, open-source systems, or closely related technologies

• Strong grasp of AI/ML, software engineering, and relevant engineering vocabulary

• Outstanding technical writing, editing, synthesis, and organization of information skills

• Capability to collaborate directly with highly skilled engineering teams and work independently

• Ability to react swiftly, create structure from fragmented technical inputs, and ensure accuracy across contributions from several engineers

• Experience in a frontier lab is a significant advantage

• Background in producing documentation within organizations that have advanced engineering or open-source environments is highly sought after
