This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France, +1 more state.

• Collaborate with the General Manager to design, recruit, and onboard the technical team.

• Develop and establish the technical framework for a new puzzle game, from initial prototype to global launch.

• Construct the switcher engine, level editor, and foundational elements for future live operations.

• Create engineering methodologies, encompassing technical practices, team rituals, and collaboration approaches.

• Define and implement the studio’s long-term technical strategy aimed at team and game scalability.

• Partner with product leadership on the roadmap, rollouts, and strategies for adoption.

• Engage in hands-on coding, developing features and making adjustments based on player feedback and market testing.

• Oversee product health and guide the technical team in enhancing quality and resolving issues.

• Assist the General Manager and other Leads with studio strategy, operations, and personnel management.

• Elaborate on game design elements, supervise testing, and modify the game in response to player feedback.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Technical Director or Technical Lead in casual games.

• At least 5+ years of professional experience with Unity.

• Proven success in top-tier mobile casual games.

• Experience in both new and live game development.

• Background in creating, developing, and leading engineering teams.

• Creative and innovative thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.

• Exceptional communication skills.

• Comfortable transitioning between management tasks and hands-on coding.

• Experience with backend development or client-server interactions.

• Passionate about casual games and motivated to create a new hit.
