Founding Director, Workforce Intelligence Research – Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in coordinating and supporting the WIL fellowship ecosystem.

• Aid in the publication and reporting workflows related to workforce intelligence.

• Help identify pertinent opportunities for grants, partnerships, and workforce initiatives.

• Provide support for research coordination and contributor organizations.

• Assist with outreach efforts targeting universities and institutions.

• Help develop scalable operational research processes and documentation.

• Offer strategic guidance regarding institutional growth.

• Contribute to the long-term development of WIL as an initiative focused on workforce intelligence and planning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in workforce development, labor market research, workforce analytics, grant coordination, university research programs, economic development, public policy research, research administration, or institutional partnership development.

• Relevant experience in a workforce research organization, university research setting, workforce development ecosystem, labor market initiative, infrastructure workforce initiative, or economic development organization is highly valued.

• Willingness to consider full-time employment or project-based contract engagements.

• Remote-first position with travel required for partner engagements and field work.

• Comfort with a part-time, flexible, remote role during the founding phase.

• Interest in creating an applied lab rather than a staffing agency, SaaS startup, or solely academic institution.
