Technical Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +10 more states.

📋 Description

• Offer specialized guidance across the range of facilities regarding the operation of water treatment plants, encompassing troubleshooting, process control, optimization, and adherence to regulatory standards.

• Collaborate closely with facility-based operational personnel, regulatory bodies, company leadership, and various stakeholders to synchronize plant performance objectives with regulatory requirements.

• Assist in implementing company QA programs to uphold high service delivery standards and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

• Lead continuous improvement efforts to boost the efficiency and effectiveness of operations and maintenance activities.

• Provide support to a wide variety of drinking water treatment facilities throughout the United States.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related discipline is required.

• Coursework in data science or statistical methods is advantageous.

• At least 10 years of experience in water treatment operations, troubleshooting treatment processes, and/or regulatory roles is necessary.

• Supervisory experience in a plant setting and/or operational licensure is a plus.

• In-depth knowledge of SDWA requirements and industry standards for the performance of water treatment facilities.

• Experience in managing projects or initiatives, including planning, execution, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement.

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.

• Capacity to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
