This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Formulate and implement both short- and long-term strategies that align with the objectives of the Quality Department.
• Set and uphold analytical and reporting benchmarks throughout the department and the organization, focusing on quality, patient safety, and clinical effectiveness.
• Create and manage intake governance processes to prioritize quality-related work requests.
• Collaborate with enterprise analytics teams to enhance teamwork, alignment, and standardization.
• Scale and refine quality analytics capabilities, including forecasting and predictive analytics for externally reported quality programs.
• Establish and optimize organizational frameworks for Quality Analytics.
• Provide strategic direction to standardize reporting capabilities, processes, and resources.
• Work alongside managers, physicians, and senior leadership to enhance operational quality through analytics and reporting.
• Develop and sustain frameworks for the ongoing monitoring and enhancement of clinical service value.
• Create standards for evaluating quality, cost, and patient-centered care.
• Oversee data sources and databases to ensure the effective distribution of actionable reports.
• Organize, present, and facilitate the dissemination of analysis and clinical effectiveness data.
• Lead interdisciplinary clinical and non-clinical teams toward achieving strategic goals.
• Manage departmental human resources as well as labor and non-labor budgets.
• Assess the effectiveness of Quality Analytics and optimize productivity.
• Direct the analysis and reporting of clinical utilization, costs, financials, claims, and clinical data.
• Oversee timelines, track performance, and address risks.
• Develop and maintain the technology roadmap for Quality Analytics.
• Collaborate with Central Analytics on enterprise-wide data governance and stewardship.
• Ensure adherence to Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, standards, and safety protocols.
• Facilitate professional development and act as a preceptor, mentor, and resource.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field/discipline (e.g., mathematics, economics, engineering, computer science) from an accredited institution is required.
• A Master's Degree in a relevant field/discipline is preferred.
• Epic or similar database certification or training is preferred.
• A minimum of seven (7) years of experience within a complex health system.
• At least five (5) years of supervisory experience in intricate environments.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in deploying operational reporting and/or business intelligence solutions in a complex health system.
• Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
