Technical Delivery Manager, Engineering & Consulting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and develop services, integrations, automation, and prototypes in a hands-on manner.

• Take ownership of architectural decisions, evaluate build-vs-buy options, and determine tooling and integration strategies.

• Craft production code, review pull requests, collaborate with engineers, and deploy solutions.

• Spearhead AI-driven development utilizing coding assistants, agentic workflows, and LLM APIs.

• Ensure seamless integration of solutions with ERP/CRM systems, identity management, data platforms, and cloud infrastructure.

• Guide engineers on a daily basis by establishing direction, assigning responsibilities, and prioritizing high-impact tasks.

• Mentor and develop engineers through pairing, design discussions, and targeted feedback.

• Foster an engineering culture that emphasizes code quality, testing, design discussions, and shared ownership.

• Engage in recruitment, onboard new engineers, and cultivate senior engineers into technical leaders.

• Act as the main technical liaison for business stakeholders and product owners.

• Convert business objectives into functional solutions, prototypes, and demonstrations.

• Communicate updates on progress, risks, and trade-offs; constructively challenge and offer alternatives.

• Maintain momentum on initiatives from planning through delivery with a streamlined structure.

• Eliminate obstacles, coordinate interdependencies across teams and vendors, and utilize meaningful delivery metrics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in software development, including recent and consistent hands-on coding.

• Proficient in at least one modern programming language, such as Python, C#, TypeScript/JavaScript, or Java.

• Capability to design, build, troubleshoot, and deploy production systems.

• Proven experience with AI-driven software development, including AI coding assistants, LLM APIs, prompt/context engineering, or AI-enhanced features and workflows.

• Familiarity with enterprise systems and integration patterns, such as ERP/CRM platforms, REST/event-driven APIs, middleware, identity and access management, cloud platforms, and data pipelines.

• Demonstrated history of leading the delivery of enterprise software projects while remaining actively involved.

• Experience in leading and nurturing an engineering team or functioning as a technical lead.

• Exceptional communication skills for articulating technical decisions, negotiating project scope, and mentoring engineers.

• Proficient understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, testing methodologies, and iterative delivery processes.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent experience.

• Preferred experience in the built environment, energy sector, engineering services, or a related field.

• Familiarity with MCP, agentic AI systems, or deploying LLM-based features in production is preferred.

• Hands-on experience with integrations involving Microsoft 365, Salesforce, ServiceNow, or similar enterprise ecosystems is preferred.
