Technical Delivery Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and develop services, integrations, automation, and prototypes utilizing production code.

• Take ownership of architectural decisions, build-vs-buy evaluations, tooling, and integration strategies.

• Establish engineering standards through code reviews, collaboration, and exemplary practices.

• Spearhead AI-focused development leveraging AI coding assistants, agentic workflows, and LLM APIs.

• Ensure that solutions effectively integrate with ERP/CRM systems, identity management, data platforms, and cloud infrastructures, while adhering to security, scalability, and maintainability criteria.

• Direct and mentor engineers on a daily basis, providing guidance, assigning responsibilities, and prioritizing high-impact tasks.

• Coach engineers through collaborative coding, design discussions, and targeted feedback.

• Foster an engineering culture centered around code quality, testing, design discussions, and collective ownership.

• Engage in hiring processes, onboard new engineers, and cultivate senior engineers into technical leaders.

• Act as the primary technical liaison for business stakeholders and product owners.

• Convert business objectives into functional solutions through prototypes and demonstrations.

• Report on progress, risks, and trade-offs; constructively challenge requests and suggest alternatives.

• Drive projects from inception to completion through scoping, sequencing, and delivery.

• Eliminate obstacles, coordinate dependencies among teams and vendors, and leverage delivery metrics to enhance outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in software development, with recent and continuous hands-on coding.

• Proficient in at least one modern programming language such as Python, C#, TypeScript/JavaScript, or Java.

• Capable of designing, building, debugging, and deploying production systems.

• Proven experience in AI-driven software development, including AI coding assistants, LLM APIs, prompt/context engineering, or AI-enhanced features and workflows.

• Familiarity with enterprise systems and integration methodologies, including ERP/CRM platforms, REST/event-driven APIs and middleware, identity and access management, cloud services, and data pipelines.

• A history of leading enterprise software projects while remaining actively involved in coding.

• Experience in leading and developing an engineering team or serving as a technical leader.

• Strong communication skills for articulating technical decisions to executives, negotiating project scope, and mentoring engineers.

• Proficient in CI/CD, DevOps, testing methodologies, and iterative delivery practices.

• Background in the built environment, energy sector, engineering services, or a similar industry.

• Knowledge of MCP, agentic AI systems, or deploying LLM-based functionalities in production environments.

• Practical integration experience with Microsoft 365, Salesforce, ServiceNow, or comparable enterprise ecosystems.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is preferred.
