Technical Delivery Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of engineers and project leaders.

• Design and enhance team structures, resource allocation, and talent development strategies.

• Cultivate a culture of ownership, accountability, innovation, and ongoing learning.

• Convert outcome-focused requirements into detailed project roadmaps and execution strategies.

• Manage multiple simultaneous implementation projects and coordinate internal teams to ensure timely, budget-conscious, and high-quality releases.

• Report progress, risks, and mitigation strategies to senior stakeholders and leadership.

• Establish and maintain quality controls regarding functionality, data integrity, performance, and user acceptance criteria.

• Collaborate with QA resources on testing strategies, automation frameworks, and release procedures.

• Promote continuous improvement in release readiness processes and performance metrics.

• Provide technical direction, from code-level debugging to data-level analysis.

• Work with R&D to integrate new product features for enterprise-scale applications.

• Advocate for GenAI and other tools to automate, enhance, and streamline implementation workflows.

• Identify and execute improvements to minimize manual effort and accelerate delivery speed.

• Encourage documentation, best practices, and standardized procedures.

• Utilize metrics, analytics, and user feedback to enhance processes and delivery methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in software delivery, implementation, or technical program/project management with increasing leadership responsibilities.

• Demonstrated success in managing large-scale, cross-functional projects in fast-paced or enterprise settings.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Proven expertise in software configuration, integration APIs, data pipelines, debugging, and system performance optimization.

• Practical experience in addressing complex technical challenges at both the application and data levels.

• Knowledge of automation frameworks, DevOps practices, and emerging technologies (e.g., GenAI).

• Strong experience in leading and mentoring high-performing technical teams, including architects, senior developers, and QA leads.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage with executive-level audiences.

• Skilled in guiding cross-functional teams toward shared objectives and managing change in a dynamic environment.

• Experience in the energy or utilities sector is advantageous, but not mandatory.

• Capability to quickly adapt to evolving industry trends and new technologies.
