This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.
• Drive the execution of multiple interdependent projects within various programs.
• Ensure that outcomes are achieved on schedule, within the defined scope, budget, and quality standards.
• Establish execution standards and processes for project managers within the program or department.
• Collaborate with professionals in computer science and data science, along with cross-functional teams.
• Influence the strategic direction of the area of responsibility, including resource management and policy development.
• Analyze business challenges and propose best practices to enhance products, processes, or services.
• Make decisions and manage complex operational, product management, manufacturing, technology, or engineering tasks.
• Lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.
• Foster innovation and continuous improvement by identifying strategic partnerships, new technologies, and process enhancements.
• Work alongside business, functional partners, and technology leadership to define functionality and specify requirements.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to others.
• Master's or PhD in Computer Science or related STEM fields with a minimum of 4 years of experience in developing complex high-technology products, or a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or STEM with 8 years of experience.
• Experience with AI products is essential.
• Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to influence results and organize teams towards common objectives.
• Proven experience in developing and deploying production-grade AI/machine learning models at scale.
• Experience in translating business challenges into ROI-driven AI solutions, encompassing end-to-end ownership from problem definition and model development to operationalization, monitoring, and continuous improvement in production.
• Familiarity with the GE Healthcare product development process or an equivalent healthcare medical device quality system.
• Experience in medical imaging AI development is highly preferred.
• Experience in medical device development is regarded as a strong asset.
• A background in robotics or automation technologies is beneficial.
• Experience in automated vehicle or robotic guidance is highly sought after.
• Proven skills in data management methodologies.
• Strong presentation and influencing abilities.
