Technical Consulting Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Lead and oversee a team of Technical Consultants across France and the UK.

• Offer coaching, guidance, performance support, and prioritization.

• Develop and implement a clear 3–6-month strategic plan for the team.

• Balance personnel priorities, project delivery, business needs, and evolving technologies.

• Manage escalations from both internal sources and clients.

• Identify root causes, assess options, and decide on resolution or escalation approaches.

• Promote the adoption and practical use of AI within Technical Consulting.

• Recognize opportunities to enhance productivity, problem-solving, technical delivery, and client empowerment.

• Act as a technical leader and contributor on client projects.

• Engage directly with clients to comprehend requirements and convert them into effective solutions.

• Supervise data migration and ETL processes, including analysis, mapping, transformation, validation, and resolution of intricate migration challenges.

• Assist with integrations between ANAQUA and other platforms or systems, including batch processes and software development as necessary.

• Collaborate with Project Managers, Business Consultants, technical teams, and broader stakeholders within a matrix organization.

• Coordinate priorities and convey progress updates.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in people management and technical leadership, ideally overseeing consultants, technical specialists, or implementation professionals in a customer-facing role.

• Capability to manage team priorities, performance, development, and escalations, with the discretion to make decisions and know when to engage wider stakeholders.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience in managing client relationships and collaborating effectively in a matrix organization.

• Practical experience with AI tools.

• Understanding of how AI can enhance technical consulting and improve team productivity.

• Curiosity and the ability to identify and incorporate new technologies and AI into existing workflows.

• Strong technical foundation with C# and ASP.NET.

• Advanced SQL proficiency, including queries, stored procedures, and views.

• Solid grasp of relational databases.

• Significant experience in data migration, ETL, and data transformation.

• Experience with K2View or similar data migration tools is highly desirable.

• Background in systems integration, software implementation, or technical consulting.

• Aptitude for analyzing complex problems and effectively communicating solutions to technical and business stakeholders.

• Experience with Intellectual Property is a plus.

• Capability to work in the United Kingdom or France is implied by the team scope and specified location.
