Technical Consultant, Oracle VBCS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with clients and functional consultants to collect business requirements and convert them into technical specifications.

• Design and develop tailored extensions and integrations utilizing Oracle VBCS, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, and PL/SQL.

• Customize and enhance Fusion modules using VBCS to align with business requirements.

• Create data models, develop REST APIs, and configure integrations that link Oracle VBCS with various systems and databases.

• Conduct testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to guarantee quality, performance, and security of solutions.

• Work in tandem with cross-functional teams to integrate with current systems and data sources.

• Offer technical guidance and expertise to clients and project teams throughout the implementation process.

• Keep abreast of updates, enhancements, and best practices related to Oracle VBCS.

• Document technical specifications, configurations, and procedures thoroughly.

• Assist in the migration and deployment of Oracle Extensions VBCS applications into production environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of VBCS custom page development and experience with at least one complete end-to-end implementation.

• Practical experience in OIC integration development.

• Hands-on experience with Page Integration in Fusion Applications.

• Familiarity with Visual Builder Studio, Redwood templates, Fusion Extensions, and CI/CD processes.

• Experience in developing data models using databases, SQL, and PL/SQL.

• Proficient in working with REST and SOAP Web services.

• Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• APEX and Groovy development experience is a plus.

• Knowledge of Fusion Security, roles, and data access is preferred.

• Experience with PaaS IDCS setups, federation between SaaS and PaaS, and SSO is advantageous.

• Familiarity with Fusion SCM Modules is preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Relevant Oracle development and Oracle VBCS certifications are beneficial.

• Demonstrated experience as an Oracle Extensions VBCS Technical Consultant or Oracle Developer.

• Strong comprehension of Oracle Fusion Applications.

• In-depth knowledge of Oracle VBCS development tools, visual development environments, and declarative development methods.

• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and web technologies.

• Experience in designing and developing custom extensions and integrations with Oracle VBCS.

• Familiarity with Oracle Fusion Applications and their underlying data models.

• Excellent problem-solving and debugging abilities.

• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience with the complete software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
