Technical Consultant – Atlassian, Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee and continually enhance Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket platforms for clients.

• Manage and administer network, server, and cloud infrastructure, including Linux, Azure, AWS, and virtualization technologies.

• Assist in technical migrations, such as transitioning from on-premises to cloud environments and consolidating data centers, from planning to implementation.

• Analyze technical issues independently and devise practical solutions, from troubleshooting to root cause analysis.

• Act as the primary contact for stakeholders, offering guidance on technical issues.

• Thoroughly document projects to ensure transparency throughout the entire project lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in administering Jira, Confluence, and preferably Jira Service Management.

• Proficient in Linux.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.

• Familiarity with Microsoft 365/Active Directory, virtualization, Docker, or Kubernetes; knowledge of ITIL 4 is a plus.

• Structured work approach with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Practical, hands-on problem-solving skills.

• Strong documentation abilities.

• Capability to work independently on migration and infrastructure initiatives.

• Clear communication skills and openness when collaborating with diverse stakeholders.

• Service-oriented attitude and resilience.

• Strong interest in IT and confidence in customer interactions.

• Team-oriented mentality with a readiness to assist colleagues with technical knowledge.

• Essential skills: Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Linux, cloud (Azure or AWS).
