Technical Business Analyst

📋 Description

• Comprehend and document existing platform workflows, exception paths, rules, and any undocumented behaviors.

• Develop and uphold precise reference materials for AI tools and engineering teams.

• Evaluate tickets and specifications in relation to actual product functionality prior to development.

• Establish acceptance criteria, identify edge cases, determine failure behaviors, and outline explicit non-goals.

• Address product inquiries utilizing SQL against real-time data.

• Measure and quantify completed work and their outcomes.

• Create and sustain recurring reports for cross-functional teams.

• Identify anomalies, outliers, distribution problems, and metrics that remain unreconciled.

• Develop initial working prototypes utilizing AI tools.

• Design screens, scripts, query utilities, data views, and small-scale internal applications.

• Clearly convey product intentions to engineering teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years experience as a business analyst, technical analyst, product analyst, data analyst, or in product operations with close collaboration with engineers.

• Proficient SQL capabilities, including crafting queries against real schemas and comprehending join impacts on row counts.

• Competence in interpreting database schemas and deducing product behavior.

• Daily hands-on experience with AI tools, encompassing context structuring, prompt iteration, and identifying confidently incorrect outputs.

• Skill in developing initial working prototypes with AI support.

• Exceptional and precise writing abilities.

• Commitment to analytical integrity: quantify findings, articulate assumptions, and scrutinize unreconciled figures.

• Willingness to function effectively without established process frameworks.

• Capability to prioritize tasks and decline work as necessary.
