Senior Business Analyst, AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Act as the liaison among business stakeholders, product management, architecture, engineering, and operational teams.

• Organize workshops, stakeholder interviews, and sessions for gathering requirements that align with the product strategy.

• Convert business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and business rules.

• Evaluate enterprise business processes and specify future-state business capabilities.

• Develop functional specifications and process models.

• Engage in Agile delivery activities, including Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Reviews, and Retrospectives.

• Assess system interactions, interfaces, data flows, and platform dependencies within Microsoft Azure environments.

• Specify requirements for AI-powered product features, including acceptance criteria for LLM, Copilot, and RAG solutions.

• Analyze the impacts of proposed modifications across applications, APIs, integrations, processes, and stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in software product development environments.

• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Proven expertise in Agile and Scrum delivery frameworks, including backlog management, sprint planning, and user story mapping.

• Familiarity with SDLC, REST APIs, data modeling concepts, SQL, and enterprise application architectures.

• Practical experience with Azure DevOps (ADO), Jira, Confluence, Microsoft 365, and Visio or Miro.

• Knowledge of Generative AI concepts, LLMs, Microsoft Copilot, prompt engineering, RAG, and AI governance.

• Proficient in oral English.

• Proficient in Spanish.

• Demonstrates resilience, emotional intelligence, and a focus on agile delivery.

• CBAP or PMI-PBA certification is preferred.

• SAFe POPM or SAFe Agilist certification is preferred.

• Experience with Power BI is a plus.

• Background in enterprise SaaS or cloud-native product organizations is advantageous.

• Familiarity with cloud-native foundations or AI coding assistants is desirable.
