This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Create and provide high-quality technical assistance, focusing mainly on consultation.
• Assist in the effective execution of the annual scope of work for Great Start to Quality Resource Centers.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with both internal and external partners.
• Design and deliver opportunities for capacity building, both individually and in groups.
• Offer consultation to ensure that necessary training and scope-of-work deliverables are achieved.
• Facilitate meetings involving internal and external partners.
• Represent the organization as an accomplished facilitator and subject matter expert.
• Develop and execute the annual technical assistance plan.
• Monitor and review progress reports and deliverables.
• Produce written materials to support implementation and reporting efforts.
• Assist with both internal and external continuous improvement and evaluation initiatives.
• Foster and manage relationships with early childhood system partners at state, regional, and local levels.
• Aid in data collection and the development of reports, issue briefs, explanations, and presentations.
• Coordinate efforts with capacity-building partners and vendors.
• Keep track of emerging trends, best practices, and research to enhance technical assistance offerings.
• Participate in cross-team collaboration and facilitation.
• Occasionally travel within Michigan or to other locations for projects, ECIC meetings, and organizational needs.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in consultation, meeting facilitation, and creating learning opportunities for adults within the early care and education sector.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing technical assistance at either a regional or statewide level.
• Proficient in assessing needs, formulating strategies, and evaluating outcomes.
• Experience with data collection methods, including surveys, interviews, and observations.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to cultivate relationships and collaborate with diverse communities.
• Proficient in remote work tools, Microsoft Office, Adobe, and data platforms such as Survey Monkey.
• Capability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and make informed decisions.
• Ability to fulfill the stated physical requirements.
• Remote work based in Michigan.
• Monday–Friday work schedule.
• Exempt position.
