This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct quality assurance and quality control inspections for commercial, residential, and industrial building systems, encompassing electrical, mechanical, fire and life safety, and structural elements.
• Execute building assessment projects, which include data aggregation, facility-equipment barcoding, housing data collection, parking lot evaluations, and surveys.
• Carry out walk-through evaluations of accessible and visible building equipment, systems, structures, foundations, interiors, common areas, exterior walls, windows, roofs, and pavements.
• Gather data from equipment plates for entry into online platforms.
• Capture photographs of equipment, tags, site characteristics, and building features.
• Assess the condition of equipment and apply barcodes to identified items.
• Review plans, construction documents, scopes of work, property records, maintenance records, inspection reports, warranties, repair costs, and other related documentation.
• Progress to more complex evaluations such as Property Condition Assessments, ADA compliance checklists, and environmental data collection following training and on-site experience.
• Draft comprehensive reports detailing findings in accordance with ASTM standards.
• Identify deficiencies, hazards, and non-conformance issues while recommending corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal codes, regulations, and industry standards including ASTM, NFPA, NEC, ICC, and ASME.
• Communicate inspection results and compliance issues with property owners, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other inspectors to ensure consistency in inspections and quality control.
• Maintain communication with senior management about any issues or potential challenges.
• Achieve productivity and report-quality targets.
• Deliver prompt customer service and proactive solutions to clients.
• Adhere to company policies, standard operating procedures, work instructions, and safety protocols.
• Travel 75–90% of the time to client/project locations throughout the U.S., which may include on-site visits lasting up to three continuous weeks and overnight stays.
• Certification as a Home Inspector or InterNACHI certification is mandatory.
• High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is necessary.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record, showing no significant motor vehicle report (MVR) points or violations, is required.
• Proficiency in writing reports, business correspondence, and standard operating procedures.
• Capability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from clients, peers, and technical field personnel.
• Aptitude for defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing sound conclusions.
• Ability to interpret a wide range of instructions and manage various abstract and concrete variables.

• Willingness to travel by plane, motor vehicle, and train to client sites across the U.S.
