This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct QA/QC inspections of building systems, including electrical, mechanical, fire and life safety, and/or structural components.
• Execute building assessment projects encompassing data aggregation, facility equipment bar coding, housing data collection, parking lot evaluations, and surveys.
• Perform walk-through inspections of building equipment, systems, structures, foundations, interiors, common areas, exterior walls, windows, roofs, and pavement.
• Collect data from information plates and input it into web-based applications.
• Capture images of equipment and tags, assess equipment condition, and implement bar coding.
• Compile photographic documentation and record site observations.
• Review plans, construction documents, scopes of work, property records, maintenance logs, inspection reports, warranties, and repair/improvement costs.
• Compare construction documents and scopes of work with actual site conditions.
• Progress after training and on-site experience to handle complex assessments such as Property Condition Assessments, ADA checklists, and environmental data collection.
• Create written reports that accurately describe findings in accordance with ASTM standards using computers, iPads, and various software.
• Identify deficiencies, hazards, and non-compliance issues and suggest corrective measures.
• Communicate inspection outcomes and compliance issues to property owners, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other inspectors to ensure consistency and uphold quality control.
• Maintain project communication with senior management regarding issues and potential challenges.
• Achieve productivity and report-quality targets.
• Deliver timely, proactive customer service to clients.
• Adhere to company policies, SOPs, work instructions, and safety regulations.
• Travel 75–90% of the time to client/project locations across the U.S., including on-site assignments of up to three consecutive weeks and overnight stays.
• High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) is required; some college coursework is preferred.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Robust analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license is required with no significant motor vehicle report (MVR) points/violations (clean driving record).
• Proficient in writing reports, business correspondence, and standard operating procedures.
• Capable of effectively presenting information and addressing inquiries from clients, peers, and technical field staff.
• Skilled in defining problems, gathering data, establishing facts, and reaching valid conclusions.
• Competent in interpreting a wide range of instructions and handling both abstract and concrete variables.

• Willingness to travel by plane, motor vehicle, and train to client sites throughout the U.S.
• Proficient in using web-based programs, tablets, computers, and other electronic devices.
• Must comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards including ASTM, NFPA, NEC, ICC, and ASME.
