This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct inspections for QA/QC of various building systems, including electrical, mechanical, fire and life safety, and structural components.
• Execute building assessment projects that involve data aggregation, equipment bar coding, housing data collection, parking lot studies, and surveys.
• Perform walk-through surveys of building equipment, systems, structures, foundations, interiors, common areas, exterior walls, windows, roofs, and pavement.
• Collect data from equipment plates, take photographs of equipment and tags, assess equipment condition, and apply bar codes.
• Gather photographic documentation and record site and building observations.
• Review plans, construction documents, scopes of work, and site conditions.
• Examine repair and improvement costs, property records, maintenance reports, inspection reports, warranties, and construction drawings.
• Progress after training and on-site experience to complete PCAs, ADA checklists, and environmental data collection.
• Create written reports that accurately describe findings in accordance with ASTM standards using computers, iPads, and relevant software.
• Conduct on-site inspections to evaluate building systems, structural integrity, and safety compliance.
• Identify deficiencies, hazards, and non-conformance issues, recommending corrective actions as needed.
• Prepare comprehensive reports that include photographs and supporting documentation.
• Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal codes, regulations, and industry standards such as ASTM, NFPA, NEC, ICC, and ASME.
• Communicate inspection results and compliance matters to property owners, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and inspectors to ensure consistency in inspections and quality control.
• Keep senior management informed about issues and potential challenges during site deployments.
• Achieve productivity and report quality goals.
• Provide timely customer service and proactive solutions to clients.
• Adhere to company policies, standard operating procedures, work instructions, and safety protocols.
• Travel frequently to client and project sites across the U.S., typically spending 75–90% of the time on the road, with on-site visits lasting up to three continuous weeks and requiring overnight stays.
• High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) is required; some college experience is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of related experience is required.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• A valid driver's license is necessary, with no significant points or violations on the motor vehicle report (clean driving record).
• Proficient in writing reports, business correspondence, and standard operating procedures.
• Ability to present information effectively and respond to inquiries from clients, colleagues, and technical field staff.
• Capability to define problems, gather data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret a wide range of instructions and manage several abstract and concrete variables.

• Ability to lift or move items weighing up to 40 pounds occasionally.
