Technical Architect – Products, Auto, Consumer, Energy Industry

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Act as a strategic consultant and Salesforce product and platform authority for large, intricate enterprise clients.

• Establish yourself as a reliable advisor to customers.

• Spearhead internal strategic initiatives aimed at expanding the consulting practice.

• Enhance the community's repository of knowledge and expertise.

• Assist customers and team members in assessing and implementing emerging technologies.

• Educate on complex concepts while providing innovative and prescriptive insights.

• Identify and proactively address risk areas, ensuring complete resolution.

• Manage customer expectations and negotiate intricate solutions with clients and third-party partners.

• Evaluate and refine project or program direction, methodology, and key deliverables.

• Ensure programs remain on schedule and that solutions are both extendable and maintainable.

• Collaborate with Delivery Managers, Solution Architects, and clients to design technology solutions.

• Contribute to program vision and offer guidance on project strategies involving enabling technologies, particularly the Salesforce Platform.

• Mentor and nurture technical talent.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in enterprise architecture or consulting.

• More than 4 years of experience leading Salesforce Core Projects.

• Proficient in application design.

• Strong skills in data, integration, and security architecture.

• Excellent presentation abilities.

• Capability to articulate and defend a viewpoint to diverse audiences.

• Quick to learn and implement new concepts, business models, and technologies.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in creating materials tailored for different audiences.

• Effective communication skills with individuals in various roles.

• Ability to analyze, design, and enhance business processes using technology and integration.

• Extensive experience with integration concepts, designs, and patterns.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field is preferred; equivalent relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

• Ability to communicate and persuade customers regarding best practices.

• Background in application design and development.

• Willingness to travel as required by client needs.

• Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or multiple Salesforce Architecture certifications is preferred.

• Familiarity with Consumer Goods Cloud, Consumer Goods Retail Execution / Trade Promotion Management, and the Consumer Goods sector is advantageous.

• Experience with AI-driven development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Agentforce for Developers.

• Understanding the strengths and limitations of AI-driven development tools.

• Experience leading a technical team or workstream.

• Proven ability to build and sustain relationships with C-level executives and senior technology leaders.

• Strong experience in defining and delivering enterprise applications on the Salesforce Platform is a significant advantage.
