Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Join a development team of approximately 8 members working in a fully remote setup.

• Engage with cutting-edge technologies in a casual, stimulating, and international environment.

• Work on both new projects and those already in production.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role of 4 to 5 years.

• Strong technical and theoretical background.

• Proven experience in Object-Oriented programming in Java/JEE within web and distributed systems.

• Familiarity with Spring, Spring Boot, relational databases (MySQL), RESTful APIs, and GIT.

• Experience in developing microservices architectures (Docker).

• Proficiency in UNIX/Linux environments.

• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.

• Commitment to writing maintainable and easily understandable code (clean code).

• Team-oriented approach.

• Good command of spoken and written English (minimum B2 level).

• Experience with one or more of the following technologies: Messaging (RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, etc.), Tomcat, Cassandra.

• Knowledge of tools such as JUnit and Maven.

• Experience working with agile methodologies, particularly SCRUM.

• A degree in Computer Science or equivalent is preferred.

• Desired experience in utilizing AI tools for software development, along with strong analytical skills to review, refine, and adapt generated results.
