Java Developer Analyst

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Data Processing, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field; or a completed bachelor’s degree in any discipline combined with a specialization in Information Technology.

• Preferred: Oracle Certified Professional – Java SE Programmer certification (version 5 or later).

• Preferred: CSD – Certified Scrum Developer certification.

• Preferred: PSD – Professional Scrum Developer certification.

• Familiarity with financial systems development.

• Understanding of agile development principles and practices, including the Agile Manifesto, Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP), and Kanban.

• Knowledge of continuous integration, delivery, and DevOps practices.

• Experience with Jenkins, Sonar, Maven, Nexus, and Azure DevOps Services.

• Understanding and experience in Configuration and Change Management using ClearCase, SVN, and Git.

• Knowledge of functional, non-functional, and agile requirements.

• Familiarity with design patterns and programming best practices.

• Understanding of enterprise systems integration.

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and development.

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with migrating monolithic systems to microservices.

• Knowledge of relational data modeling.

• Understanding of layered application architecture and the MVC model.

• Familiarity with responsive interfaces and Progressive Web Applications (PWAs).

• Knowledge of systems integration technologies, including messaging, JMS, Web Services, WebSphere Message Broker, REST, SOA, and EJB 3.

• Understanding of Jenkins, TDD, ATDD, specification by example, refactoring, and continuous delivery.

• Knowledge of JavaScript, ECMAScript 5/6 or later, Ajax, jQuery, AngularJS, Angular, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, ASP, and .NET.

• Familiarity with UX and usability concepts.

• Understanding of software testing and test automation, including JUnit, Selenium WebDriver, and JMeter.

• Knowledge of building simulators, mocks, and stubs.

• Familiarity with Java Web technologies: JEE, JSE, MicroProfile, Java 8 or later, Apache Velocity, and Spring.

• Knowledge of JSF, JPA, and Struts.

• Familiarity with JBoss, WebSphere, and Liberty application servers, as well as the Quarkus framework.

• Understanding of multi-tenant application architecture.

• Knowledge of Linux and static code analysis with SonarQube.

• Familiarity with web application refactoring and migrating business rules from the front end to the back end.

• Understanding of reverse engineering.

• Familiarity with CMT transaction management.

• Knowledge of SQL.

• Experience with Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, Ant, and Apache Maven.

• Skills in MUMPS and Caché 2010.2 or later databases.

• Familiarity with OpenVMS and/or Linux.

• Preferred knowledge of CICS, CICS/WEB, Broker, MQ Series, SOAP, and APIs.

• Skills in Delphi 5 or later, Enterprise PowerBuilder, and Unix-like solutions.

• Experience with ISO 8583 message routing.

• Experience with J/XFS financial technologies and banking peripheral integration.
