Technical Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Qatar.

📋 Description

• Provide support for the delivery and consulting services to fulfill Veeam Software solution design and deliverables.

• Offer comprehensive project guidance including Project plans, Schedules, Communication Plans, Resource plans, Status updates, etc.

• Assist in the assessment and design of solutions as well as address post-installation issues.

• Aid in estimating the implementation efforts for Veeam Software solutions.

• Develop white papers, solutions guides, best practices, and custom documentation.

• Conduct onsite knowledge transfer on Veeam Software solutions.

• Maintain documentation of configurations and completed activities.

• Analyze installed environments to recommend optimal Veeam Software configurations.

• Facilitate the communication between clients and Veeam support.

• Identify additional requirements within the client’s environment that can be addressed with Veeam Software solutions.

• Contribute insights for enhancing processes and documentation.

• Participate in overnight business stays to achieve company goals and objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in the IT industry.

• VMware VCP, Microsoft MCSE, or equivalent experience is required.

• Certifications such as Prince 2, ITIL, PMP, or similar qualifications are preferred.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in technology is mandatory (a combination of education and experience will be taken into account).

• Practical experience with Veeam’s Core products is essential.

• Demonstrated Consulting and Project Management experience is necessary.

• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills are required.

• Strong presentation skills are essential.

• Extensive experience and knowledge of virtualization technologies like VMware and Hyper-V is needed.

• Familiarity with disruptive storage systems and technologies (Nimble, Nexsan, Actifio, Veeam, etc.) is required.

• Practical experience with networking protocols and equipment (Fiber Channel, Ethernet, Cloud services) is essential.

• Experience with traditional storage and backup architectures (EMC, NetApp, IBM, HP/3PAR, Hitachi, Dell, etc.) is required.

• Hands-on experience with Enterprise applications (Exchange, SQL, Oracle, etc.) is necessary.

• Experience in Data Management, Data Protection, and Data Analytics is needed.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes platforms is a plus.

• Extensive experience in Data Center, Business Continuity, and Operating Systems is required.

• Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects and accounts simultaneously.

• Working knowledge of Cloud technologies, capabilities, and protocols is needed.

• Familiarity with security technologies and concepts is essential.
