This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +9 more states.
β’ Take responsibility for the technical achievements of n8nβs key top-tier clients.
β’ Serve as the primary technical liaison for a selection of strategic customers.
β’ Manage the technical transition from Sales Engineering throughout implementation and ongoing operations.
β’ Cultivate relationships with technical stakeholders, including architects, platform owners, and engineering leaders.
β’ Evaluate customer deployments for risks related to scalability, reliability, performance, and maintainability.
β’ Offer suggestions for platform enhancements, upgrades, optimizations, and architectural modifications.
β’ Advise customers on best practices for automation and workflow that impact platform performance, reliability, or scalability.
β’ Supervise the intake of technical support, issue management, critical incidents, and high-severity support cases.
β’ Coordinate with Support, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams for responses.
β’ Keep customers updated through timely communication, resolution strategies, and proactive risk management.
β’ Evaluate support activities, recurring problems, usage trends, and operational risks to formulate preventive action plans.
β’ Prioritize bugs and feature requests, gather internal feedback, and monitor issues until resolution.
β’ Provide structured customer insights to Product and Engineering teams to enhance platform results.
β’ Identify gaps in the enterprise product and contribute lightweight fixes, workflow enhancements, or pull requests when necessary.
β’ Extensive experience in Technical Account Management, Solutions Architecture, Customer Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or a comparable customer-facing technical role.
β’ Profound knowledge of cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, APIs, integrations, and platform operations.
β’ Proven experience in diagnosing performance, reliability, and scalability issues in production environments.
β’ Capability to translate intricate technical subjects into actionable recommendations for both technical and business stakeholders.
β’ Confidence in building trust with senior technical stakeholders and aligning internal teams around customer objectives.
β’ Experience in collaborating with Support, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams.
β’ Strong background in DevOps and infrastructure, including hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, self-hosted deployments, cloud environments, and scalable, reliable production systems.
β’ Minimum of 6 months experience with n8n or similar workflow automation/iPaaS platforms like Zapier, Make, or Node-RED (preferred).
β’ Familiarity with AI/LLM integrations, agentic workflows, or AI-enabled business process automation (preferred).
β’ Experience in supporting self-hosted and SaaS enterprise clients, particularly in complex or highly regulated settings (preferred).
β’ Background working with open-source, developer-centric, or technical platform products (preferred).
β’ Previous exposure to scaling customer success or TAM efforts in a rapidly growing SaaS or infrastructure company (preferred).
β’ Proactive and consultative mindset; ability to grasp business implications, foresee challenges, and maintain organization across various customer priorities (preferred).
β’ Must have the right to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is only available for Germany.
β’ English is the primary language of the company.
