Tech Sales Support Manager – Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant, Operations Risk Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead the discovery process alongside Operations, HSE, Process Safety, Digital, and IT stakeholders.

• Convert real operational challenges into a viable solution strategy.

• Take ownership of the technical/domain success across strategic ORM/COW opportunities via tailored demonstrations, workshops, POCs, RFPs, and executive discussions.

• Collaborate across ePTW/COW, work risk assessments, Isolation/LOTO, SIMOPS, Field Operations/mobile, and related operational-risk use cases.

• Partner with Sales to establish qualification and win strategies.

• Collaborate with Product/BPT to address recurring field gaps.

• Work together with Services for an implementation-ready handover.

• Contribute to building the North American ORM market narrative, including customer proof points and Sales/BDR enablement.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to industrial clients modernizing high-risk work processes.

• Travel frequently throughout North America.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years in a similar role/title.

• A minimum of 3 years in the Operational Risk Management industry.

• Solid practical COW/ORM expertise obtained in an owner-operator, industrial consultancy, or enterprise software setting.

• Experience in a high-hazard industry, including Oil & Gas, Energy, Chemicals, Mining, Utilities, or Manufacturing.

• Exceptional discovery, facilitation, and customer-facing communication abilities.

• Experience in enterprise software/SaaS Presales or a comparable practitioner/consulting background with strong commercial skills.

• Familiarity with integrations, mobile/field technology, and the enterprise IT landscape.

• Readiness to travel for strategic customer engagements.

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States or Canada without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
