Tech Lead – TypeScript, Node.js, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete feature development process for a streamlined team

• Balance the need for quick deployment with the importance of long-term code quality

• Produce clean, production-ready code within the comprehensive TypeScript ecosystem

• Implement custom workflows, state-machine logic, and tailored RAG pipelines

• Create guardrails, traceability frameworks, and algorithms to assess the reliability of LLM outputs

• Convert vague concepts into functioning code swiftly

• Set up code review practices, testing standards, and responsible AI coding assistant protocols

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in TypeScript at an expert level, including Generics and Discriminated Unions

• Extensive experience with Node.js

• Strong skills in modern web development

• Familiarity with SvelteKit, or React or Vue, along with the ability to quickly adapt to new frameworks

• Proven experience in deploying functional LLM-powered features or agents

• Knowledge of token costs, evaluations, and prompt safety measures

• Regular use of engineering assistants like Claude Code or Cursor at an advanced level

• Capability to work independently across the entire web stack

• Excellent communication skills in English

• Comfortable operating in an asynchronous, highly autonomous work environment

• Must currently reside in Latin America
