Tech Lead – TypeScript, Node.js, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Dominican Republic.

📋 Description

• Lead the comprehensive feature development process for a streamlined team.

• Make sensible trade-offs between fast deployment and the long-term health of the codebase.

• Produce clean, production-ready code throughout the entire TypeScript ecosystem.

• Implement tailored agentic workflows, state-machine logic, and specialized RAG pipelines.

• Create guardrails, traceability frameworks, and algorithms to ensure and validate the reliability of LLM outputs.

• Quickly transform vague concepts into operational code.

• Develop strict code review processes, testing standards, and responsible AI coding-assistant protocols.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in TypeScript at an expert level, including advanced concepts like Generics and Discriminated Unions.

• Extensive experience with Node.js.

• Strong skills in modern web development; primary technology stack consists of SvelteKit, with experience in React or Vue being a plus.

• Familiarity with Mastra or demonstrated experience in constructing custom state-machine-driven backend logic.

• Proven ability to deploy practical features or agents powered by LLMs.

• Knowledge of token costs, evaluations, and prompt safety considerations.

• Regular use of engineering assistants such as Claude Code or Cursor.

• Capability to work independently across the entire web stack.

• Excellent communication skills in English.
