Tech Lead – Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from initial concept through to deployment in both staging and production environments.

• Act as the technical authority for the squad, ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of card and financial transaction services.

• Influence architecture and engineering choices, evaluating trade-offs and steering the team towards scalable and secure solutions.

• Advocate for TDD/BDD, conduct code reviews, maintain clean code practices, implement DDD, and ensure high levels of automated test coverage.

• Engage in production systems support with an emphasis on observability, monitoring, and effective responses to critical incidents.

• Work in partnership with business, product, and technology teams to enhance the bank’s card customer journey.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Kotlin or Java, with substantial experience in Spring Boot.

• Skilled in microservices architecture, communication patterns, resilience, API versioning, and continuous deployment practices.

• Significant experience with automated unit, integration, and contract testing methodologies.

• Strong understanding of both relational and non-relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Cassandra.

• Practical experience with Kafka, SQS, and SNS, alongside large-scale asynchronous communication techniques.

• Advanced knowledge of metrics, structured logging, and distributed tracing technologies.

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, utilizing Terraform or CloudFormation and CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with JWT, OAuth2, encryption, and best practices in secure development.

• Experience in agile environments that emphasize frequent deliveries, metrics, and a DevOps culture.

• Previous exposure to payment processing, acquiring, card systems, or high-volume financial solutions.
