Tech Lead, Dynamics 365 CRM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Establish technical goals, methodologies, and architecture for the Dynamics 365 CRM development team.

• Cultivate the engineering culture and serve as the technical liaison for developers.

• Engage in hands-on development of plugins, custom APIs, integrations, and intricate technical features.

• Perform code reviews and set coding standards.

• Guarantee the maintainability of plugins, JavaScript extensions, PCF controls, and Power Automate flows.

• Oversee the technical architecture of managed solutions, publisher prefixes, and Azure DevOps ALM pipelines.

• Ensure a distinct separation between configuration/customization and pro-code.

• Design and create interfaces to third-party systems from API inception to authentication.

• Document architectural choices in Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).

• Approve technical solution strategies during tandem refinement.

• Manage the technical elements of monthly production releases, including release planning and the hotfix process.

• Mentor senior, mid-level, and junior developers, fostering their professional growth.

• Represent the team in cross-functional architecture meetings and provide technical guidance.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience developing with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE / Power Platform.

• In-depth knowledge of plugins and custom APIs utilizing C#/.NET.

• Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript and the Xrm client API.

• Proficient in Power Automate and the Dataverse data model.

• Strong experience with solution layering and application lifecycle management (ALM).

• Skilled in CI/CD pipelines for automated multi-environment deployments using Azure DevOps.

• Experience with Git and workflows based on pull requests.

• Adept at designing and implementing REST/Web APIs, Azure Functions, and Service Bus integrations.

• Proficient with Azure Portal, App Registrations, Service Principals, and Microsoft Entra ID.

• Experience with Azure Key Vault and Application Insights.

• Experience in designing and evaluating Microsoft Azure cloud architectures.

• Background in technical leadership as a Tech Lead, Lead Developer, or with demonstrable mentoring duties.

• Capability to make, document, and defend architectural decisions to the team and stakeholders.

• Fluent communication in German and English, with a proficiency level of at least C1.

• Resident of Germany or Austria.

• Experience with PCF controls, preferably using React, is a plus.

• Microsoft certification PL-400 or PL-600 is a plus.

• Experience with FakeXrmEasy or other Power Platform testing frameworks is a plus.

• Functional experience with D365 Sales and Customer Insights is a plus.
